We'd certainly hope for more than 38%. That article seems to be mostly saying that on it's own, it's not a massive game-changer.
But we (hopefully) know that, it's the combination of many, many measures that will likely reduce a second "wave" significantly.
I don't trust him either. But I highly doubt he will be involved with this side of things, and for me the benefits massively outweigh the potential negatives.

I think a few are seeing it as all or nothing, based purely on a working vaccine. That might well be the thing that administers the final crushing blow to this **** of a virus, but it will be severely weakened - death by a thousand cuts - by that stage, IMO.

I had - perhaps wrongly - assumed that to confirm on the app that you had tested positive, you would need some proof of a positive test - perhaps a code or something that you are given at the time of the positive test?
