I don't disagree with your main point here. Recruitment has been disjointed with the regular changes in managers and changes in system. I also don't have an issue with Gus having hired good, and loyal team players. My point is that Gus hired some duds too so mentioning the total number he signed...
You're implication is that Poyet signed better players than others....Which i don't have an issue with if true. Maksimenko is not one of the good ones although you site him...I do see the difference, but using stats of poor players doesn't really back up your argument.
I reckon a good test bed and we will then try and convert the better loan signings to Perm. Better than rushing in loads of 3y signings that don't work. Think we showed this didn't really work in the summer
