    Two things with that probably. First, the opposition would know he's injured (we know so they'd know) and would not allow him to have a runner. Second, it'd be against the spirit of the sport, which is still quite an important thing in cricket. Back to the drawing board BG!

    You can only have a runner if the injury occurs in the match. If he played he'd have to run.

    It was described as a hamstring injury on radio Sussex. If correct, then that is 4-6 weeks.
