On the basis of what Southern were saying at 4.00pm, I'd aim for the 07:00 train from Brighton to Victoria, and get myself to Brighton Station by bus. The number 7 bus runs from Hove Station every ten minutes or so, and takes about 8 minutes, so I would aim to catch the 06:35 bus from Hove...

I'd rather Southern publicised the basic story of what is happening, as soon as they had decided, and the details came later - rather than saying nothing until all the details are finalised.
Which is what has happened.
In contrast, First Capital Connect have, so far, said absolutely NOTHING...
I blame whoever it was who, in 1793, decided to put the Wellesbourne River into a culvert, rather than let it flow naturally into the sea - along London Road, Victoria Gardens and the Old Steine.
Probably some lackey of King George III.
