Indeed it was and alas illustrated the point that 10-man behind the ball defensive performances don’t prepare us well for when we have to take the game to beatable opponents at home
Again I'm not trying "hard" to do anything but analyse how we lost the game, certainly no harder than you taking your frustrations rather randomly out on other posters

Silly pop - can both be a remarkable effort and an individual error, this is a free speech forum and if you don't want to read honest commentary on the game then there are plenty of other happy clappy threads on here that clearly advertise what they are about (and I was defending Ryan!)

Rosenoir said Eriksen was Stephens’s man, not saying it’s as clear cut as that but Stephens certainly didn’t throw his body at the shot in the manner a daft barsteward like Duffy would have
Kayal and Stephens might have done better - but you can rarely get those deep defensive tactics right for the whole game. That’s why I hate them I’m afraid and why I don’t like my team has become the league specialist in them
Reminder that we need to take the game to Newcastle on Saturday, a performance like that won’t be any good. My biggest fear is the players have simply forgotten how to do it and the manager hasn’t made it a priority
Yep but we have no Plan B at the moment to this. It’s why our season has gone bad.
For now we just got to wait for the grim inevitability with a long shot upside
