I'm really amazed this argument gets trotted out so often on here. Fans made allowances for the quality of football if they know the club is financially struggling, as we have been in past eras. They are less inclined to do so when we have 30,000 crowds and are signing ex-Premiership players...

Hope the clubs do get back in touch, they should. Agreed this season was very boring but perhaps worth waiting to see who we appoint as manager? - their approach to games might be very different and genuinely entertaining?
