[Humour] knob or nob?
Knob or, more usefully, knobhead. i.e. "You sir are a complete and utter KNOBHEAD". Nob (as mentioned) is surely more to do with poshos "Hob nobbing" etc. Not slang for someone who is a COCK.- LlcoolJ
