Which bit of political intervention exactly? Our economy was hit hardest (of European ones) by the financial crash. We also benefited from not being in the Euro so could use huge amounts of QE. The fact that our recovery is now better is hardly surprising.
When will people realise that what politicians do has very little bearing on the economy. The economy is global and is mainly affected by events around the world rather than domestic economic policy (which is mostly political tinkering).
