I guess there is also the significance of the outpouring of emotion etc by people laying flowers on the toll bridge ..it became a shrine ...so next to it and within sight of the airport along with what you said makes sense.....accessibility being key.

I think it’s too serious an incident to make quips about

..maybe he was trying very hard to keep his emotions in check..if he had cried would he have been criticised for courting sympathy?

Would he even want to let alone be able to or have a license to do so ..personally I can’t believe he would want/be allowed to go near a plane For me a day to spare a thought for the loved ones of those who died
