Yes he was gutted especially when he was up and down a ladder all day with a hod load of bricks (1980s before forklifts). But he was a proper gentleman- LA1972

Yes, I worked on a building site with Bobby Tambling ( Chelsea legend ) he was on the hod being bossed around. He moaned about the modern game every tea break- LA1972
