I concur. I maintain the max people will obey with a lockdown is mid May/ end of May at a push.

The damage to the country will be devastating if your time line of 12/18 months is correct. People won’t accept that long of a wait to have some normality back.

Apparently 10k suicides after the crash in 2008 and this is meant to be worse. Who knows, it’s a balancing act.

I agree with with all of this - also the numbers look low - 90k world wide deaths. You add that all together and people will just go out - there will be stories galore on Tuesday about BBQs in park etc. The Government needs to have an exit plan in place - no dates/times just the blue print...

How do you know the mental wellness of someone who will lose a business/job who are just about managing? Could also lead to loss of life

I don’t disagree - but it’s happening. What I would say is “it’s only a 3 month lockdown” could be the difference between someone losing a business/job

I think people are getting more annoyed by it every day, it was an adventure when it first came in ooooo locked in our own houses and being Furloughed - but this is wearing off and the reality of it - no pub, no gym, no nothing etc - is now hitting. Unless we get a breakdown of what the plan...

3 months is the absolute maximum I would say at the tour operator I work for 75 percent of people not doing a Disney/Vegas/NYC holiday still want to go. There is no chance people will stay locked up properly for 3 months
