Sure, and as I said, no bias was present as far as I can see. But it would have been more sensible to appoint someone who spoke both languages, which would have left no room for these childish complaints from the likes of Falcao.
Nothing wrong with the refereeing as far as any bias goes, but appointing an English-only speaking ref was a bit silly, as was appointing a Senegalese ref to the Belgium/Japan game. The refs were fine but it leaves FIFA open to this kind of accusation.
