I don't know about that, but if Ramirez hadn't knocked it out of his hand, the ref would have shown the yellow to Stephens. Not sure he could then have upgraded it to a red.- Juan Albion

As TV showed, the ref originally brought out the yellow card. Ramirez knocked it from his hand. Only when he saw the wound (which was horrible) did he bring out the red. Hmmm, not sure about that.- Juan Albion
