Star Trek star Next Generation was brilliant, it still holds up today. With Star Wars the original 3 films were good after that it was awful imo. The shows Star Trek spawned were good as well. shows like Babylon 5, Star Trek deep space. I've never enjoyed the Hollywood Star Trek films though.
