yeah looking back it was actually quite similar to the penalty Ricciardo picked up on KMag. He also went for the inside, also locked a wheel and understeered in to him. So at least the stewarding was consistent.

I was surprised by the penalty and by Hamilton's immediate admission of guilt as from multiple replays it looked like Albon left the door wide open and tried too late to close it. Guess it goes to show what us armchair fans know sometimes. Mercedes strategy was all over the place. First leaving...

I can kind of understand how Leclerc understeered in to Max at the start and these things happen at the beginning of a race sometimes, but to not pit whilst dropping bits of his car all over the track and damaging Hamilton's Merc was downright dangerous. Absolutely this. Max is Red Bulls golden child much like Vettel was when Webber was in the team. Its no secret that Daniel was unhappy with the way Red Bull apportioned the blame for the Baku crash last year. So yes he could have stayed and fought it out, but if Max was going to get preferential...

Typical Australian Grand Prix with limited overtaking, at least the bonus point for fasted lap added a bit of interest to the end of the race. Disappointing if not surprising to see Ferrari employ team order in the 1st race of the season to stop Leclerc passing Vettel. Quite enjoying the behind...
