    Price probably and it saves little time. I went via Dieppe £155 - 4 Ferry hour trip. Saves an hour the other side (or no time at all if customs decide to check all passports on the way out) I came back via Calais. £25. 1hr 30 min Ferry trip (or 1/2 hour on chunnel)

    The £5.50 for the M6 toll is worth every penny but you are right there are some who won't use it. It took me 6 months to convince a guy from work to pay for it even though he could claim it back on expenses and it would be quicker without fail the twice a week he would use it.
