[Albion] Would a 17th placed finish in the Premier League next year constitute success?

Well here’s hoping we aren’t going to find out and have a decent season next year, whichever division we are in. Premier League is the most likely

Could lose the will to live with another three seasons like the last three months :lolol: I confess to missing seeing the Albion as a team that can, on their day, beat anyone in the division.

We certainly did at Wolves, but I guess my point is more that CH reverts to the tried and tested players more often than I’d expect him to when we are desperate for a result. It’s understandable but some are now getting on a bit. Bruno and Murray are still shoo ins when the going gets tough.

I live in hope that the players we get in this year actually fit the CH mould. The recruitment team and CH will need to go up a level if we are not going to have a repeat of the last few months. Constantly relying on the players that got us out of the Championship is not going to work for much...

That not investing enough will, inevitably, end in relegation. Sooner rather than later too.

Fair enough, the finances don’t really come into it for me, I have always gone hoping for some entertainment but accepting I may not get it every week. Now I don’t expect to be entertained at all but confess my dissatisfaction with the way the team is set up, at home, has ramped up big time...

Didn’t Madjeski have the same vision for Reading?

[Albion] Would a 17th placed finish in the Premier League next year constitute success?

I doff my hat to any fan who goes next season happily accepting us being the dullest team in the football league for the second season running. I’ll go, but most of the enjoyment will certainly be sucked out of me if we approach games like we have in the last three months. Not my money so I...

Is it entitled to want to be entertained? In that case, guilty as charged

Hmm, if it wasn’t for calculators my career would have been shelf stacking

[Albion] Would a 17th placed finish in the Premier League next year constitute success?

No excuses for the complete lack of urgency at the beginning of quite a few home games imo and so yes CH does have to take some of the blame. Whilst I get the budget constraints, I cannot go along with “Hughton can do no wrong, poor chap has to work with one hand tied behind his back” Lack...

[Albion] Would a 17th placed finish in the Premier League next year constitute success?

I’ll settle for being entertained in most of the defeats, not sure I can stomach another season like this one. I’ll keep my season ticket but I’ll be missing plenty more games next season if we carry on with the shit tactics and performances of the last four home games. **** the goal...
