The design of the North Stand is awful and unfortunately the plans for the stadium were shown to the supporters without any consultation on design. Any fans who's been around the country/world to see other games could've told the club that the pitch of the stand and the roof were just wrong...
The Cardiff City point definitely has to be raised. I think the Club would agree to this as a compromise whilst Safe Standing goes through the process of being approved. Cardiff story is here:

I had a meet with Barber, Perry, Paul C and John Baine a couple of years ago asking the Club to back safe standing. Their view was that, because we are 'Premier League ready' why would be implement something that is not approved in the Premier League. We may soon be allowed it in League One...
To properly channel the efforts, please get in touch with your local MP and ask them to sign the Early Day Motion in Parliament. There are already approx 110 that have signed it (I believe) and ensuring your MP does the same will guarantee that this is discussed in Parliament...
