I agree we could do with a Plan B sometimes (as was the case last season also), but you can't blame a manager sticking to a formation that spanked the Champions 4-1 at their patch by having a mobile and interchanging midfield that they couldn't pick up. You can't do that with 4-4-2, and like...

The tactics are there but we don't necessarily have the players capable of executing them. That is neither the player's nor Garcia's fault. The Crofts injury was a turning point as we did not have another player at the club capable of dominating the central midfield and getting forward and still...

We've struggled for goals against most sides, top, middle and bottom. The reasons for that are clear as daylight, and are the same reasons as to why we look more like scoring against teams that play an attacking and open game, from Leicester at one end to Charlton at the other. It really is more realistic though, because there is very little to lay blame on if you look at the season objectively.

Rubbish. We play better against the better sides because they come out and attack us, whereas the poorer sides defend deep and we don't have the midfield prowess to break them down. If the players/management were unprofessional and unmotivated QPR, Leicester and Burnley would've murdered us.

I do find that odd though. This season had all the ingredients of being an absolute train wreck yet we're still within a sniff of the promised land. Does anyone seriously think another manager in our price range could have done any better, Sean Dyche aside arguably? I think he's done a...

Yeah, his fault he didn't get a full pre-season, has had a horrendous injury crisis much of the season, is working with a mid to lower table budget and a club-dictated recruitment policy, and still has us with a chance of making the top 6. What a let down.
