I take a look at the medal table from time to time. We are very much looking at 4th place if we can keep the Golds coming. We’re in competition with Australia who frustratingly ‘don’t do Silver’, they are converting the vast majority of their Gold opportunities and have only won 4 Silvers to our 18.

Less so the rowers. Only 2 medals, worst since 1996. We’ve really taken our hands off the oars here, I wonder if there were funding issues? Oh well, can’t wait for the Velodrome now!
