It’ll be interesting to see if Watford select Deeney, Wellbeck or Sarr tonight or whether they’re protecting their assets for upcoming sales (like Brentford did in their cup match).
Any sane and neutral Premier League observer would take Maupay over any of those you’ve mentioned. However, if he gets injured on Monday and is sidelined for a significant period, we’re going to be relying on Connolly and maybe Gyökeres.
You must agree that this is not a great position to be...

With a very similar shopping list to us, I must say that they seem to be ahead...
West Ham have made a £20m bid for Burnley defender James Tarkowski, as they prepare to spend the money from Grady Diangana's controversial sale to West Brom. (Daily Telegraph)
I wonder if Burnley fans rate Tarkowski as much as we rate Dunk? If so, West Ham need to double their bid.

On watching his ‘All The Goals’ showreel, the majority of his goals are tap-ins finishing off great Valencia moves. If they are looking for a Striker with the finishing versatility of Maupay (all angles, multiple distances, head, left foot, right foot etc) they should look elsewhere...
In his six seasons at Valencia, he averages 6 goals per season in La Liga. Not a natural goal scorer as others have said.
At 29, he is clearly not the player to push us into the top 10 next season or even long term but I’d prefer him to Murray.
Happy - no. Satisfied - yes.
