Never?
What a fan of another club at somebody elses ground.
That incensed by the actions of a player playing against the home team he (Mathew Simmons) decided to launch a RACIST attack on the player of a team he didn't support.
Get real pal, he was a Palace racist.
Ruddock putting his collar down, That Chip and turning round,
Kicking the racist palace palace fan is just the cherry,
Believe it or not, Cantona was and still is one of the best players ever to grace these shores.
Man U by the way are the devil in my mind, but I can still be pragmatic...
This really.
They beat us, fair and square. No complaints over that no matter how much it hurt.
But this troll seems to think any argument can be won by mentioning it.
Why?
I didn't until I got friendly with a few Palace fans in Haywards Heath. They explained it to me one day when I mentioned it.
And from that day, out of respect to Palace fans and Paul Nixon I have never used it again as "banter"
But there is no facts to link the 2 events other than the...
No they really aren't. You have to bear in mind that hardly any Brighton fan will even know about the Paul Nixon death, and even those that do will not see the connection between the 2 events.
I've said it before, and no doubt will say it again:
Without proof Palace blamed Brighton, Palace asked for and got a public apology, Palace knew all along it wasn't Brighton.
Now your own Captain has publicly said it wasn't anything to do with Brighton but a Coach Driver working for Palace.
This post reminds me of my all time favourite post on NSC (credit to The Large One ) on a proper binfest: I have changed the name but it seems to fit nicely:
ParDieu's existence defies explanation, rational thought and reasoned justification. The same can be said of the spaghetti junction-like...
There is no proof that the tragic death of Paul Nixon is in any way related to the Cantona incident. Fact.
I believe it was btw and have always avoided the subject on here, until now that is, but there is no tangible proof that it was.
It's actually quite a telling factor that the Palace posters on here are prepared to defend the actions of their staff like this.
That says a whole lot more about them than I could convey.
