Because some people have completely different tastebuds to others. Some people prefer to eat mass produced Cheddar Cheese, I prefer to eat goats cheese, same thing.
I have, and it seems that the possibility of removing Harveys is akin to our great Nation being Invaded and standing by apathetically and having our ground taken from us by crooks.
I'm not seriously suggesting anything of the sort, I'm suggesting that people posting that sales were down and somebody else refuting it is pure guesswork without the figures.
It isn't about not tasting good, I certainly wouldn't drink something that tasted bad but if it's adequate then for just a couple of hours with my mates at football where my overiding passion is the team I'll put up with it.
I don't go to football for a culinary experience with fine beverages...
Not for me, I expect I'll be INSIDE the stadium drinking while the Real Ale Martyrs are queuing outside in the rain.
That's not cutting off you nose to spite your face, that's cutting off your nose, exfoliating with sulphuric acid and chewing razor blades to spite your face.
My point is that before they announced Harveys would be on sale after saying they wouldn't keep a Real Ale what did anyone think they would be drinking.
And why am I even debating this, I don't care, I have no love of Real Ale and when I do drink it it's normally Doom Bar.
A quick question to the Real Ale drinkers.
Before they announced Harveys was going to be sold at The Amex and everyone thought it was going to be John Smiths anyway, would you have not purchased anything then?
