Just been catching up on some Glasto. I had forgotten how brilliant, and game changing, the first Streets album was and what a fun, albeit chaotic, entertainer Mike Skinner is. Albion flag noted.
As enjoyable as it was on tv I did wish I was there a number of times; especially when The Chemical Brothers Hey Boy, Hey Girl launched; it looked insane.
A friend put me onto her a few months ago. I was very much of the idea I’d roll my eyes and dismiss her. But, like you, found her quite mesmerising and interesting. She reminds me of the days in the 80s when mainstream pop could be populated with strange characters and odd balls.

Some excellent performances but my favourite so far is The Chemical Brothers. At times the energy from them and the crowd was insane. My mind is suitably blown.
?? I have not checked but I’m pretty certain Skunk Anansie have never headlined Glastonbury. Maybe they topped the “Other” stage?
