I always think value for money in restaurants can be very subjective so I’ll leave that comment. But, the quality, ingredients, imagination and delivery of the food is, in my opinion is exemplary. It possibly helps that I cook a lot of pasta dishes myself. Not so much that I know a lot about...

I can’t comment on the food but I am not overly keen on the place as a pub. My gripes are lots of little things which add up to me not being too keen: lay out is crap with barrels and steps and people everywhere, beers are only okay and the people it attracts are not always the nicest.

I once went to Quo Vardis mainly to see the Damian Hirsts.

I’ve not eaten there* so cant comment. Why’s it odd? * I have eaten there but it was late, I was drunk, and ordered the wrong thing. I have not included this.

I love, and miss, seafood. There’s some good micro pubs in Worthing as well. Maybe we visit Worthing next time we hook up?

I’ve counted 10, 7 in the top 10. I have not been to Little Fish Market but I had planned to visit Bincho post Cardiff but have had to change my plans. And I’ve heard really good things about Fourth and Church. I’ll try and visit both before the season is done.

Nice to see that Brighton Cin Cin is third. Thoroughly deserved in my opinion.
