I’m afraid I haven’t. Levi’s brought out a 502, and also a 501 taper. These are not as aggressively tapered as my preferred, and now extinct, 508 but they work. I’m in central London on Friday so might swing by the Paul Smith shop and take a browse.

The free office fruit hadn’t arrived this morning ....so I bought a biscuit. It’s just arrived; I’m €1 down and full of self-loathing from eating an unhealthy biscuit.

Getting back on topic, the new (to me) 501 Taper could be the answer to my problem.

First time (and last) time I've ever used FlyBe. They don't have online check in and have advised me to arrive two hours before my 90 minute flight. What a primitive way to run a business. I dread to think what type of plane I'll be getting on if their IT is so backward.

I have just had a look at their website. They do a tapered jean, which is my preference. We could be onto something here..

Wanting to fix up and look sharp for the final two games I just went to buy a fresh pair of Levi's 508s. They have now stopped making them. 'sake. I left the store empty handed. A problem shared is a problem halved so what's grating with you?
