Im just relaying what I've been told. Working class parents behave quite differently. I'm prepared to admit my research is based on quite limited info though....and I'm generalising.

Middle class parents complain about non-competitive sports days but when there is competition in the class room and they realise their darling daughter isn't as bright as they thought they still complain (and blame everyone). You can't have it both ways.

They should have held sports days where everyone loses. This would better equip and prepare our footballers for their future.
