I've been enjoying the Owen Pallett In Conflict album recently. Not a million miles from East India Youth. A very talented musician who also understands melody.

Caribou and War on Drugs both seem to really divide people. As an aside I've just bough the Plastikman back catalogue on CD. Happy days.

I may have mentioned this before but Barry Burns and his wife own and run a bar over here. It's a pretty cool place and has an amazing jukebox made up of mixtapes his, mainly Scottish, famous muso chums have made specifically for him. It also sells a number of Scottish craft beers, and Walkers...

Not at all. In fact I saw WoD just over a month ago and they covered Tangled up in Blue.

I've got 7 of them. In fact my household has got 12 of these as we have 2 copies of Everyday Robots, 3 copies of Love Letter and 3 of Our Love due to additional vinyl purchases and Rough Trade **** ups.

There's a glorious and very recent acoustic version of Paint The Moon on John Grant's website. Lovely song.

I think Green is their master piece. I also think New Adventures is a damn fine album.

How do you and Hans rate Green? Did they still have 'it' at this point?

The 2001 disc is best, it doesn't have bongos.
