When I read the report it said that yes it can be used in an inoffensive manner in certain context but the experts failed to see how this could be the case given the two were arguing. Hence he was banned for 8 games.
Mmmmm. Funny you should say this because I have always found the "he is his own man" term generally relates to someone describing/justifying a complete prick. It's a bit like when someone proclaims "I'm a self-made man", what he has really just said is I'm a gobshite.
Out of interest, Hitler...
But this wasn't the case was it? He admitted to repeatedly calling Evra a negro, and tried to be clever by suggesting it was a term of endearment. He was found guilty by his own admissions as much as Evras evidence.
FFS. Point 1 yes he repeatedly goaded Evra about his skin colour. Did you not read the report or Suarez's own admission? It was proved using the same level of determination used in a civil court. Point 2, read up on Suarez. He's been banned for biting players amongst other misdemeanors.
Odd stupid comment is one thing. To repeatedly goad a player about his skin colour is another thing all together.
Suarez has a history of arrogant, classless nasty behaviour as another poster has stated. He is a despicable person and I do not understand how any normal sane person can like him.
