"A doctor writes..."
Yes, much as I imagined. With bells on.
If the Sunk gang have the brains and honesty to imagine what a beta test outcome would look like (they won't beta test it).....one has to assume this is the planned outcome.
And yet....millions will applaud the 'attempt' to Stop...
Very measured, from someone who has been there.
I agree that Labour aren't likely to do much about much, at least immediately, but I hope they bin the idea of having lay people assessing whether sick notes issued by physicians are acceptable.
As for non-doctors doing the work of...
Yep. A 'young' medic (only 7 years experience, early 30s, on about £40K, FFS) who did a research project with me moved to Victoria in BC to save his marriage (by being paid much more for fewer hours).
As for physician associates....they simply don't have the skills of an experienced GP. One...
I think subconsciously, in my slackadasicality, I wanted to wind someone up. It certainly wasn't you.
Bought that CD the day it came out.
Thanks for posting the track. Keith was mocked for being 'posh' but he was real. And a bit damaged.
Incidentally that 'hey hey hey' first...
Sunak?
Well, if a doctor makes a clinical decision about him, who am I to argue?
But stress, though? There is more chance he'd see his health care specialist about the chafing caused by his rubbing the nation up the wrong way
Precisely, which is why I have been mentioning the minister for 'Illegal Immigration' which I have sometimes put into quotes, and have been asking who is minister for legal immigration.
Some of this goes right over some people's heads. And instead some people jump to the hilarious conclusion...
Sorry, I seem to have fallen into a time warp.
'Capitol' was a joke. Hence the follow on about London. The capitol. I can't resist that sort of thing.
And so, that post....I was just having a bit of fun. I felt like I needed some.
Mate, I agree with you. I see it on the mitigating circumstances committee I sit on at uni. Student goes to GP, says they are depressed, and the GP gives them a sick note. Two week's extension.
And yet....I am not sure how you or I are better qualified than a GP to decide if someone has a...
Mate, it has gone off piste. There are wildfire discussions about whether immigration is a good thing, should patients be triaged by a nurse practitioner, and even whether it is best to take an aspirin by mouth or up the jacksy.
Are you a follower of fashion? Can you point me to what's trendy? I'm not sure what to think anymore, and worry that my opinions have gone a bit stale. What's the 'with it' view now, on, say, the NHS, and women's rights, and the immigrant problem (used to be called the Jewish Problem back in the...
So with all this legal immigration followed, in some cases, but visa violations etc., what is the minister for Illegal Immigration doing? Presumably he will be focused in dealing with those who arrive illegally then go rogue. If they have gone rogue how is he supposed to send them to Rwanda? It...
