I took a look at that 'first day of training' video that Chelsea released. Potter and his team looked so out of place. He will have his work cut out impressing the likes of Ziyech.
Perhaps Potter has the good sense to realize he will have to find some way of gaining the players' trust and...
As far as his playing career is concerned, I agree. I saw him play more than 100 times (in the flesh) and although there was a flair element, the passing was very hit and miss. Great in the Championship, but....
His cachet comes from his career after retiring, and his community presence.
Is the peevish, but correct analysis :lolol:
Frit, frit, frit that Graham Potter
Frit, frit, frit at the Chelsea
In a panic, "what to do?!"
He cries "Bruno, pull me through"
And their first team squad say "Who the **** are you?"
Indeed.
Blue is the colour, football is the game
We're all together, and winning is our aim
So cheer us on through the sun and rain
'Cause Brighton, Brighton's your domain
(I'm going to whisper this. As a player, he was prone to many a hasty miss-placed pass. This improved towards the end of his career, but....still )
Yes, OK, I did gild the dandelion with that. Let's just say that his medium term future looks a little more assured (and lucrative) under Potter's wing than under Steve Cotterills.
Do we have history? I don't remember you. Well, I'm more than happy to put you on ignore and you can bask in the adulation of all the people who agree with your tiny minded nonsense.
Oh, hang on.... it's nobody!
