I agree with your comments but each statement is unrelated.
Yes there is corruprion everywhere but it must all be opposed. Corruption at the YMCA does not justify letting Boris and his chums get away with it.

I disagree with both statements. Some politicians are venal and do things for money (usually but not always tory). Some politicians are sponsored by a union and may be a member so they may have bias (not always) and marxist unions are not a prominent part of labour any more
