Here is an irony, that I posted on another thread, Dubstar did a killer cover of Billy Bragg's St Swithin's Day that smashes the original (which I also love), while Dubstar's own Stars is smashed by the Lacuna Coil cover. It is a funny old world.

I am struggling with this thread to be fair, since most of the stuff I like can't really be called 'hit' music, and the covers probably even less so. However, cracking thread :thumbsup:
Mmmmmm.....I love both versions, the original for the singing and guitar break in the fade out, and the cover for the molten guitar work in the late middle. I'd call this a draw.
Also, my CF version of the Idiot is AAD and the volume and quality are poor - I wonder if it has been remastered and...
