I only started this thread as a joke reply to a comment by 'another poster' who knows who he is, on another thread. Amazing how these things take on a life of their own. I am remonded that a mate of mine always has the radio on when he goes to sleep - some American internet station that plays...

This was created as a joke thread in response to a post by @statbrother, but I'm, amazed by some replies, like yours. I could no more go to sleep with the radio on than I could with the lights on. I need total silence. Amazing how different we humans can be.

Personally I don't, unless by accident, which can be awkward, e.g., if driving. Poll to follow.
