    To be fair signing in was taken seriously Never got in without being signed in by a member who had to vouch for your behaviour. Like I said.Never saw any aggro at all. Showed we could have a civilised afternoon drink without the country falling apart.

    Can't say I'm surprised. Lots of local villains frequented the Linden. I wonder if it gave a few of them an alibi if the Old Bill were setting them up.

    No it wasn't called the Banana Bar. I think the Brunswick was maybe at the sea end of the road. You had to go upstairs to get in as opposed to the Linden where you had to go downstairs.

    A place just down from the "Wick" pub in Hove.Just up from the seafront. We all used to get paid Friday lunchtime,go to the pub for a pint,have one too many and stuff work for the afternoon.:smile: Happy Days:clap2::clap2:
