Having met Jules, I'm afraid I just don't believe his actions would deserve police action unless the police had been asked to do something by a steward. And stewards will be enforcing club policy with the same blind compliance they use with all stadium rules.
I missed that post.
I can not believe that the police are much happier than we are. They're probably wondering why they are being asked to raise the matter. They'll know they have more important things to do than take a supporter guilty of chanting too much to one side.
I understand what you're saying, but it would be very easy for the club to make it clear to first time visitors where they are sitting.
EG on the phone.
"I'd like two tickets in the northwest stand please?"
"I notice from your purchase history that you have never visited the Amex before?"...
Oh I agree.
It's just I think we've got our priorities wrong when we start attacking a bloke that is doing something to be vocal. You're right, we do need more songs. Get rid of Go left and we've got one less rather than one more.
I also agree with you that atmosphere is measured by far more...
I was with you in paragraph one.
I agreed with you in paragraph two.
But paragraph three is all over the place and doesn't know what it is doing.
Sadly, I think the good old terrace chant disappeared when standing disappeared. Go Left, doesn't harm anyone. Everyone knows the north west sing...
Yeah. It wakes me up all the time. Just as I'm nodding of to the metronomic passing of Greer and Upson, some upstart kicks a chant off! I prefer the silence.
If they ban him for creating an atmosphere, then I will help them out in their drive by removing myself for a while as well. I wouldn't want to be causing to much noise in there.
Whoa everyone. Let's not be a kangaroo court here.
This is a rumour.
Ps: I'd vouch for The Judge any day. Like others on here, I've enjoyed meeting the man. A honest gent and an Albion die hard. He's no Neanderthal fan or thug, he is a thoroughly decent and friendly chap.
