Apparently not: there's a set limit as to how much compensation can be paid - in this case it was about $1300 to 1400 but questions could be asked as to why the company only offered 800 in vouchers. I bet if they'd offered 1300 in cash they'd have had an extra taker ... or two. Crazy penny...
