I read the other day that a complete Panini 1970 World Cup sticker book was sold for £1500. My mum threw mine away when she was having a clear-out :facepalm:
It's by Duncan Hamilton who wrote the book on Harold Larwood - best sporting biography I've read.I'll have to give the Clough one a go.

The most eye-opening aspect of it (viewed now) is that there were three Labour voters in the Tottenham team. I'd bet that (among the British contingent) there'd be none now. How times change
I like the idea of Bill Bryson writing a book on football hooligans - a lighthearted look at knives, slashing and footstomping along the quaint backwaters of English football. Sadly, Among the Thugs was by Bill Buford.
