So who these are realistic signings? And what says that they would be prepared to join us now? (none of that fantasy football manager game scenario where you just offer a silly wage and they immediately accept - real world please)

Is there anyone out there that will improve us and willing to join us in this transfer window? If not, do you sign someone just for the sake of it to appease the fans or hold fire until the summer when you try again?
