I miss sleep.
Second night running where GFH Jr has come in with us as he's not feeling too well...he then spends from 3am onwards tossing and turning, stopping anyone from sleeping at all. Urgh.
After the culinary delights of weetabix and a banana, followed by Doctor Who, the 16 month old old tyrant is refusing to have a nap (despite seriously needing one) and was last seen terrorising the cats.
Colds are bloody horrible, after starting nursery the little 'un had them constantly for about 2 months. Bedtime bottles became almost impossible as he couldn't breath and drink at the same time...
After a lively night with Jr GFH that ended with him sleeping with us (13 months old), he's just woken up in an incredibly lively mood.
Currently roaring (or baby equivalent) at me for no discernible reason.

This means that I had a nice lie-in, early morning wander and now a pleasant breakfast, which will be followed by more meandering and a train journey home to my fathers day gift of a...
Wahey! Congrats!
Oooh fun times. Be sure to keep NSC apprised of any updates. If it makes you feel any better, my son took 54 hours to appear (from waters breaking to birth) so to be in delivery suite already sounds positive!
Seconded (though I've only got the one 11 month old). A glorious invention.
I was woken up this morning at 3:30 by Jr GFH sitting up in his cot making it abundantly, yet pleasantly, clear that he was done with sleep for the night and that he thought attention should be paid to this decision...
Woke up at 8 for his morning bottle, after a 6am stirring, now aiming to get his morning nap under way...in fact, he's dozed off as I've written this. Marvellous!
This thread has successfully made me fear the next few years, thanks all!
I woke up 10 minutes ago, as Gullflyinghigh JR (7 months old) stayed at his grandparents yesterday, which is both odd and awesome at the same time.
