I think it's more of our inflated expectations of our young players - we did it with Robinson, we have done with Ince & JFC and now Solly - i don't think that one special goal makes a great player and i wouldn't think it fair to call that the benchmark - he's only done it once and we all know...
I'll play. Do you think that scoring one goal is the benchmark for his fledgling career? Do you think it's fair to base his progression on a goal scored in a pre-season friendly?
