To be fair, I completely understand why people think and comment the way they have done about the booing.
Unless you're a Brighton fan, you wouldn't fully understand and/or appreciate the nuances of the situation (the booing was really aimed at Chelsea as a whole and the way it 'asset stripped'...
Agree with all of that, apart from it being toxic. It was more pantomime to me. As I posted earlier. Some(most?) of the booers probably weren't actually too fussed about Potter leaving, etc, etc, but they just got caught up in the moment. We'll never know how much the atmosphere contributed to...
Yep. But we live in a world where every action, comment and opinion is pored over and – if we're being honest – interpreted to suit an agenda, without often knowing or appreciating the context.

This is all so tedious now. As with most things in life, there are now two 'sides' and everyone seems FORCED to take one of them. Bloke leaves a club and thinks he did nothing wrong. Fans of said club don't like the fact he left. The two polar opposites are NEVER going to find common ground...
