Bloom isn't stupid – nor does he do short-term thinking. I reckon the decision to get rid of Hughton was taken MONTHS ago. Before Ashworth arrived, maybe even towards the beginning of the season. Bloom has big plans for the club and he clearly didn't think Hughton was the man who could help him...
