In my experience, a decent showing from away fans makes us louder. I agree about the Burnley game though. But that atmosphere was created by the ref's actions.

Great that you've looked for positives. However, how can LESS away fans make a better atmosphere?

Not that it affects me but how many people can get into Brighton for 5 on a Monday? A lot of us have to work. Personally I wish all the tv companies would leave football alone. Just the cup final and England matches with Match of the day on Saturday nights (they used to cover all the league's)...

Going to buy four tickets but the change will hit the attendance and atmosphere. :(
