Perhaps you can't find the individual machine but there are plenty of other allwinner tabs reviewed. Those would be a good indicator as to the general quality.
Have a look at the Allwinner reviews on Amazon. I think that's the make involved. There are a fair few good reviews of their tablets but an almost equal number of VERY bad ones. I don't believe they are particularly well made and the company involved has possibly gone bust.
Perhaps (with a deep breath as an android fan) you are a trifle unfair. I think the iPad has some really great apps, some of which are not available for android. However the past eighteen months has seen Google catching up with the nexus at an amazing price and plenty of other decent cheaper...
Usually, I read using apps. Kindle, Amazon, Tesco, bbc, tapatalk to view this forum. Everything presented well and formatted correctly. Some webpages don't look great on chrome but most are pretty good.
Why do you want a ten inch specifically? I started with an Asus Transformer and although I initially liked it, the size of it started to become an annoyance. After a year I bought a Nexus 7, which I've now owned for about ten months. Personally I wouldn't go back as 7 inches is so much more...
I wouldn't bother with a cheap tablet tbh. Best buy is from a well known make. If around a hundred is the budget, Acer make a cheap tablet for that that considering the price is better than most. Asus also have an entry level tablet for a similar price. Tesco are about to launch 'Hudl' or some...
