    I thgought Worthing was agreat place to grow up and i was always on the town from 94/95 onwards up until about 4/5 years ago when i moved over to Lewes then up North. As for more lowlifes and Chavs i think a - its the same for anywhere and B- you notice it more as you get older.

    Didn't the Bristol and West building society on Chapel Road used to be a pub... The ship or something, before my time but i remeber my Dad saying something about it.

    Used to quite like it in there often popped in on way to Rutherfords if we'd been in Cloisters - Anyone remember the dodgy steep stairs down to the toilets though - accident waiting to happen after a few too many ales.....

    The castle - on the corner by the Co-op is quite good bit of a wander well 10 mis but worth it - opposite what used to be Flappers -Which i was upset to see has been knocked down!!!!!

    The Lamb is full of scummers bit of a pity as used to be a good pub- Coach and Horses along the A27 isn't bad either bit out the way though.

    On the corner small littel place, got chucked out for being underage - when i was - never went back seemed alright until i was refused service at the bar.

    Used to quite like the Brunswick - quite cheap and pool table was free some nights. My mate always used to tell me it was a scottish pub never believed him but was he right?

    Burleys by the burlington hotel anyone - that irish bar thats now a chinese used to be quite good if only for the reason it was called The craic - so you could childlishly laugh with your mates about going up the Craic.

    The castle isn't a bad pub actually on the corner by CO-op newlands road. Good range of Lagers and beers if i remember rightly.

    Our friday saturday night at 18 11 years ago now! used to consist of - Wine Lodge, Towns Pride, Thieves, Warwick, Frog Pond - then the wonderful Rutherfords. As we got older things evolved dropping or adding pubs as we went.
