Well, I assume that the parameters that trigger auto-banning are able to be set by Administrators. They've been set at a very high level - you have to accumulate a LOT of infraction points in a pretty short time to get a permanent auto-ban.

I lifted the 3 week ban early; he started posting. He then received another minor infraction for a further breach from someone else. That last infraction took him over the maximum allowable infraction points total before a permanent ban was automatically applied by the site's software. I...
