    Errrm. An iPad is about the same price and has (marginally) more functionality. Each to their own, I guess! :thumbsup: 3-5 years is about right, I'd guess. There are a lot of things to go wrong, at a low price point (for the amount of complications). Never a great mix...

    Doesn't have to be automatic. Does have to be mechanical (to satisfy the watch purist) - either manual (i.e. you wind it yourself) or automatic.
