What's with all of this modern day use of 'Sussex' by all the JCLs here? It's Suth-Seaxe. If we're going down the 'We wunt be druv' route of using archaic language that people have stopped using, at least call it this :)

Agreed. The crest is overly fussy and brings an unnecessary faux-grandeur to the flag. It is best served using one idea, and to fully embody that idea, not a crest that contains everything and the kitchen sink. And then not with a seagull and dolphin on either side. Just my personal thoughts...

Why does the linked website say 'Erstwhile flag botherers'? Surely you still are?

I'd prefer one with just the Dolphin in a crest.
