drew and whitelion investigation team have solved the case,indeed the driver most probably was in left lane indicating left to go up South Rd-upon seeing BG (change of heart,mistake realised) did the sensible thing and indicated right,before then indicating left up Hazlegrove Rd.....narrowly...
I've used the right on occasion but say i was going to Steyning,i would use the right,but left if say going toward Shoreham...

If they indicated right would it help,before indicating left after making such an error? all too often the real problem is people don't read the road markings and signs..
The arrows on the road,along with the road signs on that one-coming from newahven along the drove,it's left hand lane,exiting Sainsburys-left only,into Avis rd...the right hand lane is indeed for Seaford....when past Avis rd indicate left for Seasford,or right if you wish to tell Seaford...
A vehicle is live irrespective of a signal whilst on the roundabout,to be sure its safe to cross it's best to pay no attention (as a pedestrian) to any signal a vehicle may or may not be giving whilst going around a roundabout and make allowance that they could be coming off anytime....best...
